About Spill the Tea Daily

Hey, I'm Sarah — a thirty-something living in the American Midwest

who got tired of wading through corporate-sounding articles just to

get a straight answer.

Spill the Tea Daily started as a way for me to write about the stuff

I was already researching anyway — insurance bills, skincare rabbit

holes, financial decisions that nobody explains clearly, and whatever's

trending enough to make me lose an hour of sleep.

I write the way I'd explain something to a friend over coffee:

honestly, with actual sources, and without pretending everything is

simpler than it is.

What You'll Find Here

This blog covers four main areas:

Finance & Insurance — the stuff that affects your wallet but nobody

makes interesting. Car insurance, tariffs, tax refunds, health

insurance. I break it down without the jargon.

Health & Wellness — not the "drink more water" kind. More like: what

does the actual research say about that viral trend, and is it worth

your time or money?

News & Current Events — when something is making headlines and I want

to dig one layer deeper than the average article goes.

Lifestyle & Culture — fashion, entertainment, physical media, the

things that make everyday life a little more interesting.

A Few Things I Believe In

Every claim I make links to a real source. I'd rather say "the

research is mixed" than oversell something. And if I've tried

something personally, I'll tell you exactly what happened —

good or bad.
